PGPD District I to Host "Neighborhood Watch Walk" in Riverdale

     Prince George's County, Maryland … The Prince George’s County Police Department’s District I Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) will be having a “Neighborhood Watch Walk” with members of the Beacon Heights Association along Greenvale Parkway and Furman Parkway in Riverdale on Friday, July 1, 2011. The walk is designed to continue open communication between the police department and communities and to promote the neighborhood watch programs within the community. During this event, crime prevention pamphlets and safety tips will be offered to community members.
