Prince George's County Police Announce Arrests in Murder Investigations

Tyrone Antwan Lewis, 26 years old

On April 23, 2012, Tyrone Antwan Lewis was charged via warrants with the murders of Justin Antonio Isaacs and Edmund Akofio-Sowah. Kelvin Delonte Walker, Jr. was also charged via a warrant with the murder of Justin Antonio Isaacs.




On October 10, 2011, officers responded to 2100 block of Iverson Street, Hillcrest Heights, for a report of a shooting. Officers located the victim Isaacs, on the front steps of the location suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Lewis and Walker were developed as suspects and subsequently charged with the murder of Isaacs.

Kelvin Delonte Walker, 22 years old


On January 26, 2005, officers responded to the 400 block of St. Margaret’s Drive, Capitol Heights, for a call of a motor vehicle accident with injuries. Officer discovered that a white taxicab collided with an unoccupied vehicle parked in the driveway. It was learned that the driver, Edmund Akofio-Sowah, was inside the cab suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. He was transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead. Lewis was charged with the murder of Akofio-Sowah.
