Police Investigate Murder in Langley Park

     The Prince George’s County Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the murder of an approximately 23-year-old man named Saul Felipe-Augustine in Langley Park.

     On July 14th, at approximately 6:41 p.m., patrol officers responded to the 1400 block of Kanawha Street for a shooting. Officers found Felipe-Augustine, of no fixed address, inside the hallway of an apartment building suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. Family members could not confirm the victim’s exact age. Felipe-Augustine was pronounced dead on scene.

    Detectives are working to identify the suspect(s) and establish a motive in this case. The investigation is ongoing.
