PGPD Charges Suspect in Domestic-Related Murder in Forestville

The Prince George’s County Police Department has charged the suspect in a domestic-related murder in Forestville. The victim is identified as 34-year-old Michael Thomas Johnson of the 4000 block of Suit Road in Forestville.  The suspect is identified as 35-year-old Andray Dawayne Johnson of the 4000 block of Suit Road in Forestville.  The victim is the suspect's uncle. 

On February 4, 2014, at about 2:15 pm, patrol officers were called to the 4000 block of Suit Road for a possible stabbing. When they arrived, patrol officers found Michael Johnson suffering from apparent stab wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he died of his injuries on February 14, 2014. 

The preliminary investigation suggests Andray Johnson stabbed his uncle during an argument in their home.  He was arrested at the scene on February 4, 2014.  He admitted his involvement in the stabbing.

Andray Johnson was initially charged with attempted second degree murder.  Detectives have now charged him with first and second degree murder.  He remains in custody with the Department of Corrections.
