WANTED WEDNESDAY

Grocery Stores Targeted

Robbery detectives would like our community’s help in identifying this man.  He’s wanted for trying to rob two grocery stores in Bowie within two hours of each other.  On March 9, 2014, at about 8:30 pm, the suspect walked into a store in the 4100 block of Northview Drive and demanded cash from an employee.  The frightened employee ran away from the suspect toward the back of the store.  The suspect then ran away. Our investigation reveals that at about 10:05 pm, the same suspect walked into another grocery store in the 12100 block of Central Avenue and demanded cash from an employee.  That employee alerted security prompting the suspect to run away.  Detectives believe the suspect fled in the red SUV or minivan pictured here.  If you know this suspect, please call our robbery detectives at 301-772-4905.
