Detectives Arrest Four Suspects in Murder of Khalil Wiggins


Homicide Unit detectives arrested and charged four suspects in the murder of Khalil Wiggins in December. The suspects are 22-year-old Michael Stevenson III of the 4200 block of 6th Street in Southeast Washington, 22-year-old Quran Middleton-Bey of the 10700 block of Moray Court in Cheltenham, 23-year-old Kierra Williams of the 5700 block of Reading Avenue in Alexandria and 23-year-old Damond Foster of the 3600 block of Edison Street in Alexandria.

On December 29th, at about 8:40 pm, patrol officers responded to the 3900 block of Byers Street for the report of a shooting. They found the victim inside of his home suffering from gunshot wounds. He was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

Preliminarily, the motive appears to be robbery. The four suspects are charged with first and second degree murder. They have admitted their involvement in the homicide. They’re in custody of the Department of Corrections on a no-bond status.
